The experience of my order isn't great considering its been a month and the part jusr showed up. Whoops. But I'm glad they emailed me asking how my part was working for me and to leave a review :). When contacted a couple weeks ago they said they would refund me half the shipping but I haven't seen that come in yet either. Maybe in the USA they're good but in canada theyre not. I ordered a part from Germanparts.ca instead for the same price and it was here within a day once I noticed how horrific this process would be (a couple weeks after it had no tracking updates via carrier tracking). Good thing I did or my car would be out for who knows how long it would be out for. I just sent a dispute into Mastercard today in an attempt to get a refund for the part that just arrived. I say "arrived" but its not at my door, must be in my mailbox (checked 3 days ago). If it is there I will send back the part. Overall unacceptable for a car part
Edit: it got here so I canceled my dispute. To rma it from Canada is expensive so I'm just gonna put it on kijiji.

Unfortunately they’ve been going down hill recently. Very disrespectful customer service accusing customers of lying, manipulative. I’ve been having delays in orders in multiple occasions. Got defective items on multiple occasions and when I contacted them about it customer service person were rude. Ordered genuine BMW water pump after I ordered the Bavarian one which was defective and cost me to loose 400$ in labor and when I got the pump it wasn’t genuine which they made me bay the difference off course and promised to ship overnight which they didn’t. And when I asked them to return the price difference the customer service person “Nick” asked me to send a picture as if I was lying then told me that he can’t help me and I have to call them next day. It’s ridiculous how someone can ask you to wait as they are making me a favor and not it’s my right! I gave them 2 stars for the old time sake. But hey ECS tunning you guys need to watch out because a lot of people have been complaining. Have some respect for your customers especially the ones who spend money on your website in regular bases, the ones who trusted you and has been faithful to you like me who my whole family (father, uncle, brothers) has been customers to you because some day you were respectful to your customers. And I hope you but more respectful customer service people not accusative and attacking like Nick who after a while start to d ignoring my messages.

These guys are good people

First off, for those skimming the reviews... The entire auto industry is completely slammed due to the stimulus checks and staff reductions, so take shipping time issues with any company with a grain of salt right now. EVERYONE is bogged down! Including vendors and shipping companies.
ECS carries a great selection of parts and pricing is pretty reasonable. They have kept several of my VWs running like new for several years, and I appreciate the layout of the website which makes it easy to find parts. I find the site very useful, and several performance parts for my Atlas that no one else is bothering with yet.

Excellent product

Excellent product, shipped from Oklahoma to me in the UK. Would certainly recommend ECS, especially if you are looking for official BMW parts that are not available here. Shipping was tracked and pretty quick, considering the current global situation.

Disaster

E70 X5M maintenance items

Recently purchased an E70 X5M that needed... Quite a bit of maintenance done. I ordered a few backorder items that were shipped out when they were in stock. Not sure if it was due to shipping or not. I received 2 damaged bottles of redline d4 transmission fluid, before I opened the box, I could smell the fluid and see the stains, so I took pics of the outside box condition before opening and then took pics inside and of the damaged bottles and sent it in to ECS customer service, who took care of the issue immediately. They FedEx'd overnight the replacement bottles and I was able to get the maintenance done...I look forward to purchasing more from ECS in the future. Thank you!

Good experience

Ordered a few parts for Audi this summer. Good deal overall. Prices were reasonable, quality was good, items came as pictured and packaged normally! Web site could use an easier to find "your garage menu", it hides it under the search bar - on the right. Otherwise web-site is good!

Investors? Maybe you!

Ok....I have been a loyal customer Of ECS Tuning for about 5 years. There have been a few small things that have not gone perfectly over the years but nothing prepared me for my last experience. I placed a $400 order on 8-27-20. That order shipped on 9-21-20. This was an order that needed 2 days after it was placed to receive one item from a supplier. That item arrived to ECS on schedule and then I waited almost a month for it to ship. Only after I posted to your Facebook page sarcastically and repeatedly did someone reach out. During the month I waited you had several marketing campaigns with great offers sales etc. I can only imagine how enticing your customers to place more orders exacerbated your problems. Anyone interested in starting their own Euro parts company? ECS has left the door open. Help yourself.

Honest company trying to evolve

I recently ordered the upper strut mount heavy duty kit produced by ECS. Overall the product looks very solid and well made. The delivery timeframes were expressed online prior to the order and it ended up being very accurate. I think ECS is going through some growing pains or something due to COVID as on previous orders I had a much more irritating experience with customer service and shipping timeframes. Luckily everyone there has been able to answer my questions. I’ll continue to check ECS first for parts.

They lied to me for over a month and a…

They lied to me for over a month and a half as to where my parts were and when I asked for the refund to take my business elsewhere they magically shipped the parts the next day and now won’t give me my money back... this company is washed out and in completely and utter disarray. I would recommend buying parts anywhere else.
